Discover the hidden healing secret of Marma and Marmani – the vital points of energy according to Ayurveda. These points have been documented in various ancient texts, but most notably in Ayurveda’s sacred Brht Trayii – three ancient texts that provide detailed information about these points and their connection to Yoga through physical and meditative practices.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
- Background and history Marma (energy points) within Indian classical texts
- Understand the Panchamaya Kosha model for application in Ayurvedic Yoga to support complete well-being
- Integrate Marma and Chakra energetic models to deepen your understanding of the energy body
- Learn various Marma points of the body and how they help balance Vata, Pitta, and Kapha
- Understand how Marmani are activated in pranayama, asana, and meditation to achieve balance in self-healing
- Learn and develop HANDS ON assists and pressure for Marma Therapy
- Learn and experience Marma meditation techniques
- Create and design marma-based sequences and programs for individual balancing

Travel to Albuquerque, New Mexico by land using I-40 and I-25 to reach Route 66. If you prefer air travel, choose ABQ (Sunport International Airport). You can stay at an Air BnB within walking distance of ASHA (4600 Copper Avenue) by selecting the Nob Hill area of ABQ, NM. We are located on Copper Avenue, near the intersection with Jefferson.
The Nob Hill area is affordable and has healthful restaurants, food Co-Op, and shops! Enjoy a weekend of community, learning, and FUN!
